Andrew brings a unique approach to advising clients - for many years he was a General Counsel in Industry, he was a client: instructing and managing solicitors on all range of matters. He knows what businesses want from their advisers. Andrew qualified as a Solicitor in Birmingham. He has worked in private practice with DLA and Pinsents where he specialised in Business Law across a broad spectrum of commercial transactions including Joint Ventures, Franchising, Outsourcings, Technology Licences and Private Company work. He developed a blue chip client base in domestic and international IP Licencing and Joint Ventures, Acquisitions and Disposals, Outsourcing transactions and other Commercial Law deals.

In 2001 Andrew joined Advantica, the R&D arm of National Grid as its General Counsel, taking responsibility for Global Legal advice to this World leading Engineering Consultancy including all corporate transactions, IP licensing arrangements, Project Agreements and other major contracts.

Andrew also has extensive experience of working in many International Jurisdictions, particularly in the US, Middle East and Far East. In addition, he was responsible for overseeing Advantica's Insurance and Risk Management policy and its Intellectual Property assets.

He is a specialist International Commercial Projects Lawyer and a Business adviser with commercial acumen and experience gained in a dynamic environment.
